In My Bag

The phrase “In my bag” has taken off thanks to hip hop culture. When thinking of this blog/website, I wanted to open myself up to the public in a different manner than posting on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter.

Favorite Bible Verses: I am still growing in my Biblical knowledge conquest, but these stay In my bag

Mark ch.5 v36: It’s so easy to remember! And it really hits home. As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, “Be not afraid, only believe”

II Corinthians ch. 5 v 17: Ever feel like you aren’t good enough, or that you are too weak to turn over a new leaf? Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Psalm 23: Guard yo self fool! “The Lord is my Shephard; I shall not want “

Books I have read: I’m not going to lie and say I am an avid reader, but i’ll be giving opinions on recent books I read

Art of War: How many rappers talk about this book? I thought it was overrated. Plus, I had a narrated version which I felt slowed my progress down.

Between The World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates: Yo from Baltimore, so I had to support. A really great and short read. Check out my review of this book here.

Dr. J The Autobiography: You gotta love the doc if you love basketball. Really insightful, but not a must read in my opinion. Check out my review of this book here.
